Had Auggie back to vet this morning to look at his incisions. They were looking kind of strange and not healing up all that great. The vet took him back to clean him up and he was unhappy! I could hear him voicing his displeasure.
Got him a new e-collar, antibiotics, and some menuka honey which has antibacterial properties. A couple of pills tonight with dinner, and a swipe of honey over the incisions. That is, of course, if he doesn’t take exception!

Charlee: “Our mama takes manuka honey when she starts to feel like she’s getting a tickle in her throat like from a cold.”
Chaplin: “She swears it helps her not get sick. So we bet it can help Auggie too!”
