  1. The colour of that clover sure makes a lovely background to show off Puppy’s handsome black coat!

    Have a wonderful weekend!
My Camera Critters Here and Here

Hi Jen – thanks for stopping by! Actually – Clover is the dog’s name! But, I’m sure there is some three-leafed clover in that picture somewhere because it was taken in my garden when I lived in Dublin, Ireland!

  2. Those are beautiful flowers.

Thanks Mike. But … WHAT ABOUT THE DOG? LoL. Its all Clover all the time around here .. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

  3. This this anything like “Akeelah and the Bee”?

Hah! Clover has a thing for flowers and bees .. and has been stung more times than I can recall .. always have a bag of frozen peas on hand to help with the swelling.

  4. Sweet picture of your Labrador and the flowers! Also, enjoyed seeing the Sandhill Cranes in your Aug. 24th CC post. We had some near us a few years ago, but I haven’t seen them since.

Hi April – thanks for stopping by. Just imagine my nightmare when walking the dog (off leash at the lake) one day when two Sand Hill Cranes swooped in on us. I had images of being hauled to jail for a couple of reasons, one of which was my dog chasing the cranes down the road (and me chasing after them). We don’t do off leash anymore!

  5. I’m not sure I can see the bees very well, but Clover is adorable! What a cute puppy!! I love labs. I have a big yellow lab I couldn’t live without!

  6. Cute dogs all thru your blog! Thanks for the heads up about Sams Yams! Will try these on my horse, uhhhh dog!

Thanks Kris! I think they’re pretty cute, too.

  7. Thanks for dropping by my Camera Critters post at Small Reflections and leaving the link back here to yours. Molly would very much like to play with Clover … ;–)
    Hugs and blessings,

  8. Clover must appreciate lovely flowers. Lovely shot!

Thank you for visiting my other blog.

Hi Rachel! You’re right Clover likes flowers. She used to sit very still in the garden among the roses and flowers just so she could smell them all. And get stung on the nose by bees on more than one occasion!

  9. a bee sting on the roof of the mouth is almost as bad as burning it with too-hot pizza!

Oh, man .. that hurts just thinking about it. All of Clover’s bee stings were on the nose/snout. One time, she swelled up really bad, but it didn’t stop her from doing it again (and again, and again). LoL.

    Thanks for stopping by!

  10. Lovely combo–bees, flowers and a lab. Around here in MN labs are the state dog, I think. Everybody’s got at least one but usually two. Loved seeing your thrifty finds–very retro and cheap!

  11. wow, CLover travels internationally? Thats way cool. Nice picture:)

She’s actually an Irish Lab – born and bred in Dublin, Ireland, and registered with the Irish Kennel Club. She has a fancy name, too! ;-)
